Prince Charles to visit Canada in November

How popular is Prince Charles in Canada? In the States we still think of Diana and when Charles married Camilla his popularity suffered.

We think a great deal more of his sons than him although we know its the title not the man.

He will never be king. His son will be the next.

If we went strictly by the man and his beliefs, then Charles would make an excellent King. He is quite outspoken on several subjects - "I don't dine with dictators." being one of his better calls when he refused to attend a state dinner for Jiang Zemin. And, he takes a very proactive role in the administration of his own lands. However, the longevity gene of the Bowles women, will like likely see him die before his mother.

Personally I'm not a fan of the monarchy at all, but if the Canadian media focuses on anything it's his two sons and the Queen.

Has anyone ever heard one thing from the Royal family concerning Charles being taken out of the line of succession?

It drives me batty when people say he will never be King. Where do they get these ideas?
