EDMONTON -- Messages a Tory MLA posted on his public Twitter account during the city's pride parade have Edmonton's gay community calling for an apology.

    I'm gay and the GBLT establishment here are way over-reacting. How about we be happy that a Tory politician is actually attending the parade? The comments weren't even bad.

    Yeah, I'm not too sorry for any politician who can't figure out that because of the nature of his job there's lots of eyes watching everything that he does. Especially conservative pols who don't understand that there's a whole lot of media just waiting to jump them over the most trivial and inconsequential things. Smarten up and don't let the dumb jokes go public and there'd be no problem at all.

    That's a given if he's from Alberta, isn't it? :lol: Did you hear about teh guy from BC who moved to Alberta. Yeah, he raised the collective IQ of both provinces. :lol:
