The funeral for actor David Carradine was anything but sombre - Hells Angels led the procession and mourners wore Indian headdresses, cowboy boots and kilts.
You don't get taken to your grave by the HA "just because", so I take it he WAS a HA. Do we all think about Carradine as an asshole now? As a criminal? Or doesn't it really matter after all?
According to ex-wife Marina Anderson in an interview with Access Hollywood, "There was a dark side to David, there was a very intense side to David. People around him know that." Previously in her divorce filing she had claimed that "It was the continuation of abhorrent and deviant sexual behavior which was potentially deadly. His deviate behavior includes an incestuous relationship with a very close family member, which permeated our marriage. This is to his admission and the admission of the person involved."
He had his quirks, like everyone else, but it doesn't take anything away from his talent. I'll remember the public person, the actor.
it would be extremely interesting, to find out what exactly the connection Carradine had with the Hells Angels. If he was a member he kept it extremely quiet, because the paparazzi news media would have most certainly have had a feeding frenzy about it.
My best guess is that he has a close family member that is a member , that wanted to show respect to him at his funeral.
I doubt he was a full patch, his life was too scrutinized to keep that hidden all this time. He was likely acquainted with a full patch. So HA led the procession not that big a deal really.

Well, it is a big deal if you thought David Carradine redeemed himself with Kill Bill, only to find out he's an incestuous sex-fiend with links/ties to organized crime.
You don't need to be HA member to have them escort your body to the grave site. I'm thinking it was a way for them to honor someone whom they respected for what he had done in his life.

consider the source.
incest isn't a quirk.
Maybe a bad quirk, or a very very weird quirk.
Sorry Shep, I couldn't find a better word.
