Molson brothers buy Montreal Canadiens for $500M

George Gillett has reached an agreement in principle to sell the storied hockey franchise and the Bell Centre to the Molson family, the National Hockey League team announced Saturday.

where i live 90% of the fans are either toronto, montreal, boston or detroit so there would be a lot of exploding heads down here

There's still unnamed partners.

The Molson family enlisted other partners to complete the deal but a spokesperson said yesterday that it would be “premature to identify them.”

For a few million they'd let her sing the Anthems.
