Just after 6 p.m., Master Cpl. Don Pike, 35, tried to pass other vehicles on 66th Street during off-duty hours on Canadian Forces Base Edmonton. The truck ultimately went into the ditch and rolled.

    Where's the article of the one that died in a fire? That was not a soldier? Or in a carcrash elsewhere? Or just... because?

    I see GF's point. Not every death is news, why is this one?

    Just interesting that you figured this was the product of a slow news day while some dumb bimbo getting 52 stars tattooed to her face was newsworthy.
