Pollution in the Mekong river has pushed freshwater dolphins in Cambodia and Laos to the brink of extinction, the conservation group WWF has said.

    Kinda depressing. I'm a huge fan of wildlife preservation, one of the few environmental ideas I actually do support (within reason, I support protecting endangered species or vegetation, but not to the PETA extreme)

    Not surprised that a river whose flow starts in China is extremely polluted, though, and to be honest, not much we can do about it...
