A Canadian soldier was killed in southern Afghanistan on Sunday when an improvised explosive device he was trying to defuse blew up, the military said.

    I'd like to think that dude just saved a PILE of lives that would have been lost if that bomb went off undiscovered. That's a hero.

    Gotta say tht the EoD teams do a hell of a job over there. Certainly have to have a lot of balls to do what they do. It's something I would never want to do myself.
