In 98 they told everyone in Red Deer to lock up their daughter's and hide their wife’s. And after all that, about 1000 people came down to the meet and greet at the hotel they were staying in to welcome them to town and check out the bikes.

RD has always been biker friendly, hell in the late 70’s they elected a Mayor, with most people knowing that his son was the president of the Reapers. That didn’t hurt him at all.

OMFG, what a fearmongering story again...
    "bikers are baaaaadddd!!!"

Fuck off. If they commit a crime, nail them. If they don't, leave them the hell alone

Only a matter of time before they get the criminal organization label they deserve.

Ya no biker gang has ever done anything wrong. Let's wait until they finally do.

So every group of bikers is a "bikergang"?

I guess I am (or was...) VERY dangerous... I used to be vice president of a "bikergang"...

Clearly this isn't just any old group of bikers. I suspect the police know exactly who is gathering there.

You know what the funny thing is? When we rode as "bikergang", we would often be stopped. You know, riding in black leather, about 20 people on customs, not on streetracers, that is obviously scary.
They never were able to nail us for anything, not even for speeding.

When you ride with 20 people on streetracers, in coloured leather, you will hardly get stopped. While they are the ones speeding. BUT, that is obviously not a "bikergang", they are obviously NOT criminal, while when you ride on a custom, in black leather, you are...

I am sooooo sick and tired of that generalization.

We better arrest every 16 year old for shoplifting too, right? Before they do...

They usually don't arrest people in Canada without some evidence of a crime. That includes biker gangs. Watching them isn't arresting them. I guarantee you your kids will be watched every time they go into a store on their own. It happened to us when we were in high school.

Dispite all their talk of not being a criminal organization, they have never kicked out members convicted of crimes. Almost all other associations and groups have code of conduct and will remove members who make the group look bad.

That would be a step in the right direction but we'll never see them do it.
