UFOs spotted in Cambridgeshire

How does he know what they look like/how big they are. All you can see is several orange lights. They do not look very big either.

They were in our back yard last night too!!! ....... oh wait...... those are our patio lights.

It's amazing how people infer intelligence to unexplained lights in the sky. I have no doubt there's intelligent life out there somewhere, but I'm willing to bet that if they decide to visit, they'll be much less obvious about their arrival.

What I want to know is, that if there are UFO's/Aliens that are supposed to be so much more advanced than us then why haven't they just wiped us out already? I mean how many years (or eons) of watching our planet does a superior being have to do to realize that for the most part we are scum and should be exterminated?

No, I just read/watch the news. Pretty tired of humanity as a whole, don't get me wrong, I like my friends and my family (most of them anyway) but as I dwell on the depravity that permeates our society and the world as a whole I just can't help thinking that as a species we have failed and maybe deserve to be wiped out.

You folks here on CKA are pretty cool for people I banter with and never see your faces.... but is anyone here a rapist/pedophile/murderer/phsyco ect.... I don't know, you don't know, odds are at least one of us has what it takes to be one of these things don't you think? and if not well how do you know for sure? You don't!

So from if I look from an alien's standpoint watching all this crap that goes on everyday on earth and assuming said aliens are a more sophisticated/enlightened/advanced species, do you not think they would have dropped a planet buster on us by now? I do.

I tend to believe we've got alot of inherent good in us but because of a few self agrandizing malcontents who can't seem to be happy unless the rest of the world is terrified or in crisis, we'll never achieve our potential.

Who says the aliens would be any better than we are? For all we know they could be completely worse, and if any of them did nazi-ish things like wiping out other species because they found them annoying then I'd say that such aliens would be significantly worse and less moral than most humans currently are. Competition for available resources is natural to all living things on Earth, so it'd be a safe assumption that any lifeforms from outside our solar system would be subject to the same biological pre-programming that humans are, which means that they'd be looking for things to help them survive, thrive, and enjoy some sort of luxuries. Advanced intelligence means that the higher developed species is able to control itself and has a system of behaviour designed to govern themselves just like we do, which hopefully means that there won't be any space-nazis out there who want to wipe us out, but it doesn't mean that somewhere inside them the prerequisites of nature no longer affect or influence them.

Oh, I'm not denying theres some good left in the world, problem is we never hear about other than little snippets on the 5th page or a human interest story on the news at 11.

I guess my point in the first place was that if there were aliens capable of visiting earth we would already have concrete evidence and would be
1. wiped out because they see us as parasites
2. slaves to superior beings
3. already co-existing peacfully with them (untill Osama decided to attack them or some sico raped an alien child)

Could be they're just scared to approach us due to the depravity they MUST be able to see if they are watching us!

I'm over cynical I guess, I know there is good in the world and see it everyday, Guess I need to focus more on the posatives. The world as a whole scares me though, sorry guys.
