JERUSALEM (AP) — An Israeli woman laid herself on the tracks just before a train roared through a crossing in an apparent suicide attempt. But seconds after the train passed, she got up and walked away almost unhurt.

    If she did die the poor engineer would feel guilt for the rest of his life for something that wasn't his fault.

    Oh well, its a quite common way to kill yourself in Holland. Train over half an delayed? Suicide. People cleaning up the tracks. Can take a while.

    Actually, you can be killed by lying between the tracks, so it's amazing that she lived. If a train is moving fast enough, it will create a vacuum under the train and turn you into dog food.

    Heartless doesn't even begin to describe your level of depravity with that statement. Most things I read on this board I'm indifferent too. Every now and then a post brings about a deep seated emotional reaction from me. This is one of those times and the emotion is absolute disgust.

    You actually were seeming to achieve a level of maturity over the last bit - providing some lucid and interesting comments.

    This wasn't one of them.

    This comment served to remind me me that your are, in essence, a child trying to participte in an adult world, and you have a ways to go yet.
