    The authorities call it a "love IED" – improvised explosive device – and it is not just an isolated case.

    Capt. Nabil Abdul Hussein of the Iraqi National Police said that six had exploded in the Dora district of Baghdad alone in the past year.


    Wow, where do you even begin to rebuild a society like that? I suppose you can start with the next generations by having a "Don't solve your problems by building a bomb" class right after history and geography.
