No policy on shooting an animal? There are a number of two legged animals that need to be shot Wang and his girlfriend could think of one.

I smell another anti-police lynching brewing up. And if the dog had attacked a civilian on the path then everyone would be bitching, "where the fuck were the cops when this happened?". Seems like the people in the line of fire just can't win.

I'm not anti police at all, in fact I think the police gets screwed all of the time. Police are expected to enforce laws and have to deal with the scum of society while comstantly being hammered to be politically correct. I give police a lot of leeway when they have to use dealdy force with a number of two legged animals. My point is that the shooting of a freighened dog is a liitle quick on the trigger.

I have to confess I have a high opinion of loyal dogs than a lot of people.

So the cop is just supposed to let a dog have his way with his limbs all for the sake of the bleeding hearts?

If I was the cop, I'd ensure the last shot count.

You call that a job ? The dog was on the asphalt for only like 4 seconds before "waking" up and running.

Some dogs are very dangerous. On the youtube video, in the comments section, someone says "come on it's a only a dog, take your hands.". Nah. A rottweiller can eat your face very quickly. The first person to have a face transplantation was attacked by a dog.

But, it reminds me of something that is happening now here. The Villanueva case. A police officer sees some people in a park, at night, and recognizes someone who is on probation and should not be there. He asked to see his ID and process to the arrestation. His friends and his brother jump on his partner and bring her down. She takes his gun and shoot. And when a police shooots, she shoots to disable so the torso. Well, the guy's brother died. Now, it's all the police's fault ! It's racial profiling ! Not there is a coroner/judge (public hearing) trying to understand what happened that night. For the family and friends, it's not enough ! The government have to do an inquiry on how the police behave in this neighbourhood and the "racial profiling". They did not go to the inquiry. They told the minister of justice should resign. Come on ! Sometimes the police have to do their jobs. Jumping on an officer is NOT a thing that you should do. You are no longer in Salvador here. You are in a right of law country.

So, my point, killing the dog was OK :P

Killing dogs on TV is never a good PR move. Job well done by those officers who were thinking 'big picture'.
