The relative contribution of the oil sands to global climate change is often overblown. People talk about this as being the make-or-break for climate change. It's not," Michael Levi, of the CFR, told CTV Power Play's Tom Clark on Friday.
I found out some weeks ago that Venezuela has a lot of oil sands like ours. Guess if Chavez thinks about "climate change" in his Bolivarian revolution...
In addition, pollution from the oil sands hurts local bodies of water and forests, he said, but that should be the concern of Canada and "not something that U.S. policy should be directed towards."

So what is your point MTBR?
What is your point? Look at any large city in Canada, it used to be forest too. Now it's filled with houses, buildings, concrete, and asphalt.

Yours begins to smell like a hypocritical argument when you take into account that you have absolutley no issue with coastal natives shooting otters just off the threatened list so that a couple of chiefs can have a new 'sacred' coat.
Why do I think that if natives drilled for oil three hundred years ago, this would be a non issue as long as the bands were doing it now.

I champion that cause at work and in doing so have made an impact.
Other then that I can't compete with you tossing your garbage out the window as you blaze down the street in your 1965 pollution mobile.
