Four men who allegedly plotted to blow up a New York synagogue and shoot down military planes at an upstate New York Air National Guard base "wanted to commit jihad," New York Police Commissioner Ray Kelly said today.

    I have nothing against Islam, it is a good religion, but I am strongly against the folks who are so extreme in their views ( whatever their cause) that the stop thinking about what is right and what is very wrong.

    These people recently converted to Islam.
    I'm guessing that the only reason they "embraced" the religion is that they were looking for an excuse to attack Jews.
    Just being "Jew haters" wasn't enough for them.

    Glad they were found and stopped before they could do anything and hurt anyone.
    I hope they track that up the chain and find the criminals that talked them into this. My fear is it will be ome radical muslim cleric who preaches murder but hides behind rights we provide and bleed to defend.
