Great Right North

Reports last week that the recession is draining Social Security and Medicare funds were just one more reminder that the United States needs to fix its finances. For inspiration, why not look to Canada?

You realize that the belt tightenting began under the liberals

Dont get me wrong m the liberal party in the last few years has lost touch with Canadians. But the process began years ago long before the CPC

It's actually a pretty interesting article. Personally I don't get the whole "article vs opinion piece" deal.

In fact there should be a drop down on the news submittal page where you can select "opinion". I don't see as how a column is any less relevant when trying to start a discussion about a topic going so long as it's not put forward as a "factual" document.

Your opinion may not be, but after being PUBLISHED in the Washington Post, I think it qualifies as news.

Why is it you guys have such difficulty with it being a double standard? It was published as an opinion piece therefore according to the rules of the CKA it should be labeled as opinion and not be posted in the news section.

Quite. We should be able to force Trevor to bow to our whims on what he can do with the server and bandwidth he pays for out of his own pocket.

He has no right to control the thing he pays for and has put a huge amount of skull sweat into, now does he?

Is it just me, or do I detect a hint of sarcasm...

That's the price you pay for participating in a forum run by a card-carrying Liberal.
