Gorbachev says Europe misunderstands Russia

MOSCOW -- Mikhail Gorbachev said Wednesday that Europe still misunderstands Russia nearly two decades after the Soviet collapse, and he dismissed as nonsense portrayals of his country as an aggressive force.

Before Putin I might have agreed with Gorby, but since Putin became President The Russian Federation has strated to act like the USSR. Look at their trying to grab as much Artic Rights as possible.

Other than its military, Russia is the sub-saharan Africa of Europe.
