Villagers in a Taliban-controlled area west of Kandahar City are applauding last week's drawback of Canadian and Afghan troops, saying the presence of coalition forces in their communities had only complicated their lives.

We only kill hundreds of them per month. Can't expect them to like us. Regarding the taliban.

They don't like themselves. How is one expecting them to like outsiders.

Stop spending money on a country thats just going to go back to thier old ways after everyone has left.

Russia could not do it, and we think we can.
