The European Parliament has passed a bill that will ban the import of seal products, a move that could have severe implications for Canada's annual seal hunt.

The EU is lucky that the animals in there hunts and as mentioned spains bullfighting doesn't contain cute animals like seals are to make bad PR for them.

What's even more ridiculous is that they are giving us the ok to kill them off for to manage the seal population but won't allow them to sell the product. Basicly they are allowing us to kill many seals to manage there population and just leave there bodies in the artice as nothing more that a animal kill making no use what so ever out of it.

The seal hunt managed there population but it atleast put many uses out of the kill. Not just wasting its body in the artic.

There all a bunch of hypocrits and idiots.

Most of the European rules of this this nature reflect European stipidity and ignorence this move an their part reinforces that perception.
