A group of researchers at Ohio State University have discovered that conservatives are more likely to believe that Stephen Colbert, host of the wildly popular comedy show The Colbert Report, actually means what he says when he slams liberals on air.

this is even more proof that we need shows like "The Colbert Report" and "The Daily Show" around, the fact that they had to publish a study about how political satire is processed just means that people, and in the case of these shows, predominantly young people, are becoming more politically engaged, and it's about damn time

"Don't listen to the liberals - Right-wingers really are nicer people, latest research shows"

There is plenty of data that shows that Right-wingers are happier, more generous to charities, less likely to commit suicide - and even hug their children more than those on the Left.

You bunch of big, uncaring, won't hug your child meaney Liberals

I think they should have done two studies, the other being an interview where he is slamming a conservative guest and compared the poll results from that.
