How damned "progressive and liberal" are we when we can let a disabled man in a wheelchair become homeless.

Couldnt agree more, but then in Vancouver they have spent more in the last year for the Olympics, than in the last 10 on homeless shelters. As long as it looks pretty...they will come!!!

This is a big part of why I am against foreign aid. As long as one Canadian child goes hungry or sleeps on the street, then not one red cent should go to anyone else. Charity starts at home and we need to get our own affairs in order first.

well, helping out fellow Canadians isn't so much charity as humanity, and I agree with you wholeheartedly that we should all do what we can to help out, but in our position Canada ought to be able to do both help at home and elsewhere.

What an odd statement, since it's always the left-wingers who are first to
demand help for the poor, not right-wingers. You act as if we don't care?

And many homeless people are disabled, mentally and/or physically.

Funny how this site went right back to hell after the pink notice went down.
Wait, no. It's not actually funny at all.

The truth of the matter is, that those you choose to vilify all of the time ....those evil right wing Americans, give more to charity than any other people on the planet. The left tends to assume it's the governments job to help the less fortunate and that the government is. That way many don't feel obliged to help out.

I have no idea if that's an unfinished sentence or not... Maybe I read it wrong.

It didn't answer my question anyway. How does Liberal/Left-Wing policies make it
more possible for the handicapped to become homeless?

I don't remember seeing that in their mission statement.

Where do you see the board went to hell? Simply because you do not agree with what he said? Is everyone on drugs today
