Turnstiles coming to SkyTrain next year

The honour system for using Metro Vancouver's SkyTrain system will come to an end with the introduction of fare turnstiles at each station next year.

I thought only Calgary transit used the honour system. The amount of lost revenue must be horrendous.

It's the right of all addicts and punks to ride transit for free.. isn't it?
It's shamefull that it took this long for the pendulum to swing back again.
Maybe we'll actually start holding people accountable for their own actions also?
