Women... can't program a VCR (remember those), don't know how the remote works and won't touch any electronics. But give them a phone and they'll figure it out in about 3 seconds.
No big surprise really, the technology is going this way in most advnaced countries. In most of Asia and Europe, cell phone usage is much higher than landlines. We're only starting to notice because our cellular technology is so far behind theirs.
As much as I hate cell phones, they are far more convenient than regular phones. You can carry them anwyhere, send text messages, and if you have a smartphone, check email, listen to music, etc.
