The place has been open for the last 35 years, and now its a problem?

I think this is the real issue...
John Robertson, who has run a shop a few doors down for almost 30 years, said new business owners who moved into the area recently seem to have problems with the Fox.

Since the Intenet, VCRs and DVD players, there's no real reason why these theaters would stay open except for people who want company when they watch porn, exibitionists and the like.

Here in Montreal, there were about 20 XXX theaters at one time and quite a few peep show shops on Ste-Catherine Street. Strangely enough, there were a lot of hookers near these places too.

I don't think that there are any more theaters left, the peep shows I'm not sure. The hookers have moved to other pastures too.

I'm not saying this theater should close. These places can be an outlet for some people that may do 'bad things' if they didn't have a place to 'let it out'.

I guess the new business owners should have researched the area a little better.

"Suddenly we noticed, like, prostitutes, all kinds of craziness, people getting naked in our doorway. Things happening that don't seem OK anymore," said Veronika Baspaly, who owns a boutique next door.

Not necessarily. I'll put up a pole in my living room (and pants!) and throw on a frozen dinner. Please provide song requests in advance!
