    "Hey, what about convertibles...?"
    HA! great commment,
Such a difficult issue, two very legitimate and controversial points on both sides...

Illegal handgun in the car is no big deal but smoking in the car with kids is now harshly punished.

Open drug fueled gang war in the streets with no chance of convictions. 12 officers a day are needed to protect gangsters who were let out on bail.

Meanwhile Vancouver city hall is fixated on victory gardens and chickens..

    Morons!

No I can't drive ya to school. Daddy smokes so it's against the law for you to ride in my car.
    Start walking!

What if the kids are smoking?
Does it matter what their smoking?

    Thank you... you're beautiful.
I'll be here all week.. Try the veal.

Seriously.. the topic of banning cell phone use while driving has come up before and it was shot down because it was un-enforcable and it clearly kills more people than second hand smoke does.
This is stupid and a distraction because the Libs need some illusion that they are in charge on the crime issue.

We have that in Quebec since 2 years. What a stupid law.

If common sense was more common we wouldn't need this law,

toxic waste in a confined space with innocent lungs is bad

    Nuff said!

You mean the cell phone ban?

Some 7 states in the US have it on their books and I honestly believe it's a good idea.
