They need to take some extream measures to deal with the problem.

The bloodbath in Calgary earlier this year petered out fairly quickly and everyone seems to have forgotten it already. Odds are the same'll happen in Vancouver with a short period of time. Vile litle bastards they assuredly are, but the gangsters are in it to make money. Once they get their affairs in order and the cash flows regularly again, the worst of the violence should stop.

The link was more funny for the quotations coming from an NDP'er faking that she was concerned about crime. Truly ironic for anyone belonging to a political party that usually represents an ideological movement that's directly responsible for creating a social attitude that's turned so much of our culture and country into a paradise for the worst of the criminal element.

They should legalize the weed in BC untill after the olympics,that would throw a screw into the grow ops and the gangs that run them.
Take away the tax free profit and watch what happens.
