Even though I'm French Canadian, I love curling (must be because I lived in NS).
Even played it for a while.
As for the changing smoking culture:
I used to work in a financial institution, the tellers served clients while smoking. Smoking on buses, during classes in college. I think that our physics teacher was smoking pot during classes.
I think some of the ladies teams have a great start if they wanted to make a calendar. I saw a bunch of them at the airport a few weeks ago.......they were pretty hot.
There is a calender.
But no Canadian women participated, maybe because it was nude with curling gear placed in front, at discrete places.
Looks like we got a lot of closet curling fans here. I thought maybe 15 or 20 hits at best.
ok, i'll fess up.. I like it.. I did it in high school for a semester.
I liked the smoking and drinking too
Guess even curling has gone like everything else..

I heard a while back that they were testing CHESS PLAYERS for performance enhancing drugs!

Your so right. I still long for the days when Bonspiel was a contest to see who could curl the drunkest and you had to sweep the ashes off the sheet before each rock.
Now the only rocks I got are the ones in my head and my back goes out more than I do.
