Fifty years after Chinese rule began, Tibet's leader is still in exile, and many fear chaos will erupt if the conflict with China isn't resolved within his lifetime
Good artical but I don't see China regretting or acting in a respectfull manor any time in all of our lifetimes. The CCP is a power-hungry gang that dosen't care about anything except it's own profit and security.
Yea, If he is the last, it would be a shame.
It seems the author may be right about the next DL, being semi Chinese
appointment, backed up by some quisling Tibetans.
The exiles will slowly lose credibility after that, not from us maybe,
but as the years go by, and fewer and fewer people care about it.
The only recourse if this happens, will be for all the exiles and anyone
who supports them to go home and pick up a gun...
cause smiling aint working..
