I don't now about anyone else but I'm really getting tired of this shit. The alligations about the tickets being on sale on the "Tickets Now" site days before the tickets actually went on sale are true. WTF is with that?

If Cohen tickets were on sale on TicketsNow, Lopez stressed Ticketmaster wasn't aware of it.

Ticketmaster owns Ticketsnow! Bullshit they didn't know. If this isn't the biggest conflict of interest case going I don't know what is!

At the very least, ticket sellers should be outright prohibited from owning or operating a service by which people can resell tickets. If there's really a need, a separate entity will fill it. Otherwise, people should just not buy tickets for events they have no intention of going to. And let's face it, that's what TicketsNow is for.

I think all acts should sell tickets via their own websites or at local record stores...like scratch records does here. Screw Ticketmaster

Ticketmaster is a monopoly. Gouging is their business model.

No doubt! But it's not the bands who get all the cash. It's the surrounding "promotion" circus and fees like Ticketmaster who try to squeeze every last penny out of the audience. If you read the financial reports of these concert promoters and venders you'll see where they feel the future money is to be made. The Live Nation/Ticketmaster deal which fell through, was a good thing for the public.

Oh I know...bands only make money off the merch. Its complete bullshit...we arent the headliners, as we shouldnt be, Manson and Slayer are...(btw...I cant wait for that)...but we wont make anything, its for the love of the music and if we make any money its off what we sell.
