Helicopters, hovercraft, and other military vehicles will be hard at work across the Lower Mainland and around other Olympic venues this week as the police, the Armed Forces and other agencies start their Olympic security exercises on Monday.

    i saw some Military Police in their Duty Dress in an unmarked vehicle with BC licence plates XD

    They have been flying around in choppers...very unnerving. I cant wait to leave this province come 2010 until all this nonsense is over

    Maybe they could start with a sweep through Abotsford? If someone could draw fire from the gangland enclaves, I'm sure we could pass the smoking hole off as a gas main explosion.

    I think you'd quickly get lost in a moral bog in that mess. I'd start questioning somewhere between deciding those that deserved to die and those who were victims and start wondering about myself. Sadly, the I think some at the top are the ones in question.

    I saw a military helicopter this morning while at work. I didn't think too much of it until I saw this news article. I thought it was maybe a training exercise or something, didn't link it to Olympic preparation. Guess we'll be seeing more of them.
