President Barack Obama's upcoming visit to Canada will provide the prime minister with the chance to form a working relationship that could pay Ottawa major dividends in the years to come, says a former deputy prime minister.

    I certainly hope the meeting between Obama and Harper go well. We two countries neen each other badly.

    any differences that we now have or arise in the next 4 years will be blamed on Harper.
