Scorching hot temperatures and shifting winds combined to create a series of deadly wildfires in Australia on Saturday, claiming at least 35 lives and razing scores of private homes.

    This is horrible. I remember fires roaring up to within five Km. of my home. Saved by water bombers and several hundred men on the lines. I have never complained about their being too much snow since then.

    Worst part is, of the 31 fires burning, most have been from Arsons.
