This fucking POS beats someone to death with a golf club because of his sexual orientation...and gets out in six fucking years?!??!?!?!?!....that in my mind is a fucking hate crime.
These losers get together to figure out how they can beat down someone that is a 'fag' and kill him and nothing!!! Should have been 1st degree murder...he will get his in the end...Karma is a fucking bitch.

I'm pissed at this and I'm not even using the "hate crime" reason. 6 years for beating anyone to death is absolutely ridiculous. Some deterrent.

Under the release conditions, Ryan Cran will have to live, work or go to school in the New Westminster area. He will not be allowed to travel without special permission.

New West gays, watch your backs...

    Justice served, I think not.
I hope a bunch from the gay community have a field day with clubs of their own on this guy!

XD More Canadian justice, kill some with a stick and you get out early for good behavior, I think they blew chance at "good behavior" before the crime was commited, if this wasn't murder what is?

Which kind of clubs are you thinking of? That would be poetic justice

    Why doesn't this suprise me.

Six years for murder, why the fuck did we even bother sending this poor, poor, homophobic, murdering munchkin to jail, when community service might have sufficed. (sarcasm off)

Just more wonderful news from the Government Agency that serves justice and protects Canadians.

This government did a report to see if the sentances in BC are less than the sentances in the rest of the country. They have the report and said they will make it public, just not before the election..

The whole justice industry needs a kick in the ass and a minority with Trudeau's Liberals and the NDP isn't going to get it done.

We'll try and elect a Liberal majority soon enough.

You should be happy. After a decade of majotrities, this is exactly where the justice industry was left. The Libs obviously saw nothing wrong otherwise they would have fixed it.

Considering Canada's low crime rate compared to the rest of the world I'd say thnak-you.

You right-wingers spend all this time showing how all those euro countries with gun laws are worse off yet you bitch when Canada's justice system brings us a peaceful country.

We're in the middle of a gang war in the Fraser Valley so I don't think that "low crime rate" is going to work.

What about this 6 years for beating to death a random person in the park?
Any comment on 11 years for murdering and beheading his own 2.5 year old daughter?

Do you want to tell us this is just?

A gang-war? Like LA or NY? Like Bagdad? Like Kandahar?

I'll say it again. I may not agree with every single sentence but our justice system brings us greater peace and security then almost every nation on earth.

I doubt you carry a gun fearing for your life and despite my working nights I don't even lock my car door.

Check the news. Someone got hozed down with fullauto fire in Langley today after someone got shot up yesterday. Both in busy mall parking lots in broad daylight.

Having some bureaucrat tell us crime is statistically down is like the boss saying some people might be downsized.
