These look extremly cheap, heh what am I talking about. They are buying this for the Canadian Forces. Just dump them next to the other cheap and are bound to break down vehicles in the corner.

I Havent been in one yet, but from what I hear they are set up for civi radio, decent heaters and they have AC.
They said some will be logistic trucks which means they will be on the battlefield as logistic trucks are used to transport supplies to the battlefield. If some will be used on the battlefield, I am sure a lot more would be.
No, RR is right (that actually hurts to say ). These trucks are solely for use in Canada. Another contract will go out for armoured trucks to be used in combat zones like Afghanistan.
Maybe, but the article stricly said they would be used as logistics trucks and I don't really see how we have a use to be transporting ammo across Canada?

I don't understand why we have different vehicles for the homefront and different vehicles for theatre. If canada becomes the warzone I don't ever want to be driving an unarmoured piece of shit. If I'm driving I want atleast half an inch of steel around me at all times.
Theater vehicles are very expensive, I would rather have 1300 new MLs for training then, 300 of another vehicle to take their place. To tell ya the truth 1/2 an inch doesnt mean a whole lot these days, beside you can up armor anything.

Metal bars in the cab?
Haha, the cab? Troops don't sit in the cab.
