Thank goodness for that gun registry.
I'm sure glad the police watch all the gang members houses and give them police escorts when they go out.
I'd rather the gang members houses be the war zones than the public malls and streets.

It also turns out this fellow was the one who rented the apartment where those 6 people were murdered.

    The plot thickens.

The cops are too busy tazering polish immigrants and beating up on brown guys.

Most shootings are gang or drug related. Even the few shootings we have here are drug related. Let them kill eachother, problem solves itself then.

Sure, until innocent people get caught up in it. Which happens quite often.

I'm sure Wally opal will spin himself into the ground. first deflecting blame of the judges then first deflecting blame of the politicians.
It must be our fault, because we didn't elect MP's who were for justice.. like Reform MP Chuck Cadman. I wonder what Donna Cadman will say about this? This is a good topic for her to start kicking ass about.

Oh sure. So do they in car accidents.
Sorry, but I do not feel the least sympathy or empathy for those people. Should I?

    Good one Brenda.
Take another hit and explain that one to all of us.

I recall in a previous thread about some poor struggling singer who was gunned down in a club in Vancouver.
There was quite a bit of sympathy from you and others.
Then it later was reported that the guy was heavy into the drug industry and was a dealer.

I guess it depends if those who get killed are you're side or the other?

I don't have sides, you should know that by now.

I don't remember though, do you have a link?

It was some little part time, local celebrity that was knifed or gunned down and it was portrayed as some huge tragedy that this rising star's career was cut short. I believe you said you knew him, or of him and there was much sympathy all around.
Later, it was reported that he was well known to the police and active in the drug industry and the media quickly lost interest. I badgered you a bit on that, just as I am now because that's a direct contradiction.

I'll look for that thread later today but I think we both know the one I'm talking about.

No, I have no idea what you are talking about, and how the hell can I know a local Metro Vancouver celebrity? I have been here for a year, and not really in metro Van

I can't imagine I would have said anything about a rising stars career, because I couldn't care less about "celebs". That, and the fact druggies don't get my sympathy either makes you mistaken, or me at that thread in a complete blur.

From what I recall, he was more of a novelty or local personality.
I use the term "celebrity" but put that into a "not good enough for Canadian Idol" perspective.
It was good enough for the local media however.

Well, I can't say anything till I read it
"Novelty" makes it even vaguer for me ;-)

    When was this anyway?
