Taliban planting more bombs, but Canadians neutralizing them

KANDAHAR, Afghanistan - The Taliban planted roughly twice as many makeshift bombs in Kandahar province during the last quarter of 2008 as they did during the same stretch of 2007, the Canadian military said Thursday.
