VALCARTIER, Que. -- Federal Defence Minister Peter MacKay defended Friday a $274-million contract awarded to a U.S.-based company for the purchase of 1,300 logistic trucks for the Canadian military.

    Milcots? Really thats what they bought? I wouldnt call them workhorses, an HL is a workhorse. A milcot is more like a pony that pulls kids around at petting zoos.

    They are calling them MILCOTS but I think they are those trucks that you had the picture of. It looks like its just a genereic term for green civvi trucks with a new bumper. They also said "medium-sized" which the chevy's arent.

    I'll get a picture of a Milcot for ya on monday, they are already in the system and they are a newer version on the chevs.
