RCMP stopped a speeding SUV on Hwy 2 near Olds recently and uncovered a rolling arsenal of weapons, including three automatic assault rifles. Nine firearms and thousands of rounds of ammunition were recovered from the vehicle.

    maybe some of those nice toys could be sold after his trial. I could use the PPK I have 12.6 on my license.

    I think criminals are generally stupid by nature. I'm sure it's not always the case, but take this guy for example. If you were driving around with that much illegal crap in your car, wouldn't you be following every traffic law right to the letter? You'd make sure your signal lights all work, and wouldn't go more than a click over the speed limit. Your seatbelt would even be done up. Why give them a reason to pull you over?

    this guy was just asking to be caught.

    I just hope the search of the guys vehicle was justified. Like the cop saw the firearms openly. If not, this could get thrown out in court for violation of search and seizure laws.
