On guard for heroes' homecoming

There was the motorcade, around 3:30 yesterday afternoon, leaving Canadian Forces Base Trenton for the "Highway of Heroes." There, outside the chain-link fence that surrounds the base, was Dan Irvine, attempting to coax a heroic effort from his bagpipes.
