Law student's murder sentence 'a slap in the face'

I agree that 'something' had to come into play here as regards the sentence, but it sure as hell has nothing to do with 'skin color'. Get off the racist-rant bullshit!

It's got nothing to do with colour and everything to do with a justice system thats so fucked up murder is considered a misdemeanor.

Stabbing someone in their Jeep 30 times, dragging the body downstairs, and proceeding to clean up after doesn't sound like a 'random aberration' at all. Sounds like a planned 1st degree murder. 25 Years. This judge is fucked. Damn. This needs to be appealed immediately!

The media would've bitched, and the sentence would have most likely been the same.

If the white man had said "fuck them [insert racial group here]" or was heard by a witness, then it would have been different.

If the minority said "fuck them white people" I'm sure he would've been facing hate crime charges too.

you all forgot to mention that he is going to be able to finish his law degree while in prison....on the tax payers dime. think about how well he'll do, being able to study uninterrupted for hours on end. Then he will get out and repay society by keeping scumbags like himself out of jail, or fix for them a sentence that in no way shape or form adheres to the whole reason behind incarcerating someone....so the punishment will fit the crime.
