The former governor general who presided over the downfall of the Joe Clark government in 1980 says Governor General Michaelle Jean must not let Prime Minister Stephen Harper "duck a confidence vote."

    Indeed, they should just watch Dion's video and see how unprepared and dysfunctional this cabal of electoral rejects really are.
    They can be no help to Canadians and only serve to help themselves.

    I wouldn't go that far. I'm sure they would have no problem restoring the wheat board's credit rating and reversing the borderline illegal changes Harper has made to the CWB director elections... ...that would be helping Canadians.

    BS he has always wanted to cut PUBLIC funding to the Bloc. SO? he can't do that JUST to them so his intention was to cut it for EVERYONE.

    They can't even get an official responce out in time and you expect three completely different parties to come up with a budget? Even in the best days of Liberal majorities, Liberal budgets were vague, squishy sorts of things. This one is going to be scrutinized and judged beyond measure and their already late.
    They don't have a chance.
