sorry, you have no right to offer an opinion. You must perform your job or quit.

It is the communist way isn't it?

"What is next? Will the government be invading churches with their laws and forcing pastors and ministers and priests in churches to perform same-sex marriage ceremonies?"

I expect that it is. I also expect that Canada, like some European countries, will eventually prosecute non-muslims for hate speech violations when they preach against homosexuality and when they denounce homosexuals as sinners.

Muslims, of course, will continue to get a pass on their hatred.

it's no different than a grocery worker refusing to sell a fat person a chicken breast. you are there to sell the product, not judge the person who is buying it.

i'm glad the courts punnished this religious bigot.

I like the free market way myself. End government registration of marriages. Just shut the office down and hang a shingle that says "Gone Fishing." All marriages will be considered "common law" under the law and there will be no other kind of marriage. Then you can marry your boyfriend, girlfriend, boyfriend and girlfriend, or dog.

Get the government out of the bedrooms of the state.

He shouldnt have to pay anything but he should removed if he isnt upholding the law of the land.

Seconded, but with the addendum that I think the law of the land is incorrect in this case.

If he wants to have his religion guide his work, he can quit and go work at a church - a religions organization. If he wants to work for the state - a secular organization - he can suck it up and do his job.

You agree the law of the land should be upheld though. Excellent.

Personally I think the law of the land in this case couldnt be anymore correct.
