The surprise storm, which dropped 30 centimetres of snow in parts of Nova Scotia, shut down a major inter-provincial highway in the province and caused delays and cancellations at Halifax Stanfield International Airport.

    Didnt see much brown the other night driving back from Grande gash. 8O
    Low beams all the way,lest you get hypnotized.

    OMFG ya we got snow. Big fat harry deal. I think I should take some of my fellow Nova Scotian's to places like Barrie Ontario where they get lake effect snow, AND then they don't plow till it stops 8O The highway was blocked because people got stupid,summer tires in a snowstorm don't tend to work so well.

    8O 8O 8O ...NO WAY!!! We had a freaking awesome couple days bright sun, could see the mountains covered in snow....dry suit kept me warm enough for some skimboarding :D

    Just a hop, skip, and a jump from where I grew up although I haven't been there in years. You are right about the snow volume though.

    When I saw the "Welcome to BC" sign I realized i was going to be on the icefields parkway at night as I turned around. 8O
