CHATHAM, Ont. - Perhaps now Rony Salman, the Windsor man who earned notoriety and jail time earlier this year for cutting off the ears of A.K. the dog, knows what it feels like.

    Salman was also placed on probation and cannot own an animal for two years, the maximum prohibition under the law, and must pay $587.50 in restitution to the Windsor-Essex County Humane Society.

    The whole problem is, he will eventually be able to own another animal, This is disgusting.

    they will get theirs...don't worry about that. as for this asshat, its too bad he did'ent lose both ears, buddy who did this should get some kind of reward.

    what about those who crop the ears and tails of dog for 'aesthetic' purposes. I never really understood the necessity for that.
