Les Stroud, the Canadian host of TV series Survivorman, says he's no longer keen to spend a week alone in difficult terrain without food, water or equipment

The man is almost 50,and only human. he's had a fantastic run and I wouldn’t NOT hold it against him if he stopped doing this. His show is when reality TV goes RIGHT. The man is an icon to me, and to be honest, I’m glad he's getting out of it now before something bad happens to him like Steve Irwin

I love survivorman. He also did a two hour special about the homestead he set up in Northern Ontario with his wife and children. They used solar and wind to power their home. Bear Girlz has nothing on this guy.
