MacKay, the Nova Scotia MP who now represents the province at the cabinet table, says Williams should hold his tongue if he has a problem with a mainlander assuming that role. "This is what he called for," MacKay said Monday in Halifax, referring to Wi

I enjoyed a really good laugh this morning when I heard MacKay tell Williams got what he wanted.

Yes, Williams got what he wanted, but MacKay doesn't have to act like a child. The mature thing to do would be just forget it and take the high road. Instead, BOTH of them look like stupid crybabies.

Maybe Williams should just say fuck it and reactivate the ABC website...then MacKay can keep bitching and federal-provincial politics can sink to a kindergarten level.

Wow, are things so absolutely spectacular in Newfoundland that the premier has that much time to waste on personal vendettas? Do Newfoundlanders really like being collectively flushed down the toilet by a guy who keeps pushing on the handle?

I agree that Williams acted like a child, but we've seen plenty of that from other premiers before. The classy thing for MacKay to do was to take the high road. Instead, he gets into a pissing contest like a kid in kindergarten.

My point was that MacKay didn't. Frankly I couldn't give a rats ass if Williams is pissed, but our federal politicians (and senior cabinet ministers like our defence minister) should be above such petty BS.

I find it funny that you're telling us that Mackay is acting as childish as Williams. One smart ass funny comment is a far ways away from the temper tantrums that Danny is known for.
You're spinning of the issue is laughable.

I think Danny should be left flapping in the breeze like so much laundry we see in NFLd tourism commercials. The man tried as hard as he could to spurn the Conservatives, and if they had lost he would still be shooting them down. The fact is Williams backed the wrong horse, he made is bed now he should suffer in it.
