There were no signs of a slowing economy in the sales of Obama shirts and caps the day before the U.S. presidential election — at least in the capital of neighbouring Canada.
I think Canadians have put a lot of thought into who they are supporting, as well as the rest of the world. That's why, outside the US, people want Obama by a factor of three or four to one. We're all hoping he can halt the march to far right-wing wingnut land.
