You may have seen them, without knowing what they were: three white dots, each about the size of a dinner plate, painted on the road at intersections throughout the city.

Are these markers to help cyclists find the "sweet spot" of the car sensors or are they to help find the "sweet spot" of (specifically) bike sensors?

and inevitably ya end up at some light where you have to get off and hit the crosswalk button....

I hate that too, especially when I have to leave my kids behind in the car to go hit the button

Huh? You leave your kids in the car unattended at an intersection just so you can go push the button?

    Loser parent.

Next time, make one of them get out and push the button for you.

And get him a coffee so he doesn't have to stand in line at timmies.
