No confirmation if Mullah Omar was popped or not.

If he did, it'll cause a stir in the Taliban leadership.

Good riddance. Hopefully, if this was an air stirke, the US didn't wipe a bunch of women and children.

yay...only problem is the States attacked yet another target in Pakistan, which if the states is not careful, will trigger a war between the US and Pakistan, and really begin to legitimize the Islamic Radicals in many Muslim Nations (not that they aren't already popular in many Muslim parts of the world.) I'd rather not see the West have to go to war against the entire Muslim world.

Should we rejoice in the death of another human being? Would dignified silence be better? I don't know the answer.

Everything changes. that said a nation cannot constantly disregard international boundaries when they are inconvenient, and not expect a retaliatory strike.

llama66, the West(America) IS gearing up for war against the entire Middle-East region. Paksitan is teetering on hatred for the West because of what's happened, Afghanistan is chaos, America is in Iraq, Obama has said that he has no problems striking Iran, and America will continue to back Israel and using them as strategic allies in the region.

There be some serious war gearing up in the Sands of the Middle-East...
