U.S. 'mistakenly' kills Afghan troops

KABUL -- A U.S.-led coalition air strike hit an Afghan army checkpoint yesterday, killing nine soldiers, Afghan officials said, and the American military acknowledged that its forces may have "mistakenly" killed allied troops.

In all fairness the ANA opened fire on them first. The problem is the left hand didnt know what the right was doing.
The Americans are prone to friendly fire incidences, though and they should adjust their ROEs to try and curb this habit.
