I knew something like this could happen.
more money for gun control, none for crime control either
backwards thinking
Of course the military budget is subject to cuts. Only an idiot would say that the budget will stay the same or rise no matter what.
So if he changes the military's overall mission (not just Afghanistan) so it doesn't need tanks, we should keep paying for tanks anyway? Once we're out of Afghanistan...at $200 million a month...should the military's budget stay the same?

The Military is still feeling the sting of the last round of cuts the Liberals made. With reduced recruiting and Personnel reduction in the mid-90's there is a serious gap in the levels of experience in our military, not to mention the fact that no new equipment was bought for years....good thing I only have a few years left so I wont be around when the military collapses comletely!!!!
You mean useless shit like healthcare, education, and job creation, Tricks?
And if you want to talk about job creation, go to any city that has a major military base and tell them you are going to cut funding ....at least then there will be more people to line up for the increase in EI that the government will be paying out!!
Oh yeah the liberals.
“More home made gay porn and less military”
Should be the liberals slogan
